Maine is a leading manufacturer of prestigious office storage and filing systems based at
Kings Langley, in the UK. Maine are committed to a process of environmental improvement and responsibility and this is reflected in the company’s environmental certification to BS EN ISO 14001 Management System. Maine have also worked with the Carbon Trust to further implement improvements at their Kings Langley manufacturing plant.

Product and supplier selection is important, and where possible selection is based on
environmental performance and effect, including using suppliers with a recognised EMS
(Environmental Management system).

Maine are aware of environmental concerns from the supply of recycled metal, through to
manufacture and delivery. All aspects are regularly evaluated which results in continuous
improvement in lowering Maine’s impact on the environment and upholding Maine’s philosophy of innovative design, this includes Maine’s recycling units which fit seamlessly into the workplace.
